The Gratitude Jar
There are many reasons as well as things each day to be grateful for.
A few years ago, I adopted a daily process of reflection on small things to be grateful for that occurred throughout the day. I really enjoy looking for the good. I find that it is a positive reminder for me to search for the good things in everyday life.
I recently found an article that I will attach here that talks about creating a Gratitude Jar.
There are many ways to look for the good!
Here is another way that you can choose. It may also be fun to do with kids. You could print this out and place it on the fridge. As a family write down the things you are grateful for as you feel them.
T- Think about what you're grateful for.
H - Have an open mind.
A - Allow yourself to feel gratitude.
N - Note your gratitude.
K - Keep it in a jar, or other special place.
S - Share it with someone else.
I hope that you can enjoy this practice as much as I do.
